Strut Safe is a UK-wide phone line. If you're walking alone in the evening or at night, volunteers will be a friendly voice to keep you company on the phone and help you feel safe until you get home.
Hollie Guard is a personal safety app that has multiple features including being able to shake your phone or press the panic button to trigger an immediate alert. Your GPS location is shared with emergency contacts while audio and video recording begins automatically.
The app works closely with police forces, government bodies, charities, and businesses to ensure their technology meets the highest standards of safeguarding and evidence capture.
Safer Streets North Somerset is a pilot service for anyone to anonymously tell us about public places where you have felt unsafe. This could be because of:
- environmental issues such as street lighting, abandoned buildings or vandalism
- behaviours such as being followed or verbally abused
