Competitions

There are a few competitions taking place related to the Knife Angel and we would like to encourage as many people to get involved as possible.

You are invited to enter your own photograph of the Knife Angel in Weston-super-Mare into the Knife Angel photography competition.  

The competition will open on Wednesday 1 May, when the statue arrives in Weston town centre. The closing date for submissions is Friday 17 May. 

How to enter

Your images should be high-resolution. You can enter more than once.

You can either:

• upload your entry to the dedicated Knife Angel page on the WeTransfer website and send an email to knifeangel.competition@n-somerset.gov.uk
• email your entry (one photograph per email) to knifeangel.competition@n-somerset.gov.uk with your full name, age and contact number - if you are over 18, you don't need to submit your age, just say you're over 18

The winning images

The winning images will be announced on Friday 24 May. The winners will be invited to the closing ceremony of the Knife Angel in Weston-super-Mare on Thursday 30 May.

There will be first, second and third prizes for each competition running.

The winning images will be displayed throughout May in The Sovereign Centre in Weston-super-Mare.

Entries for the children's poster competition and the Consequences photography competition have now closed.
