This year, Hate Crime Awareness Week takes place from Saturday 11 to Saturday 28 October.

Every year in October we support National Hate Crime Awareness Week (NHCAW).

NHCAW is a week of action to raise awareness of hate crime and support those who need our ongoing support.

We work closely with Avon and Somerset Police and other organisations to respond to hate crime and support and protect victims.

Along with our partners, North Somerset Council will support the national campaign in a variety of ways: signposting to our online resources via social media, displaying posters in local businesses, libraries and community centres, and holding events to engage with our staff and the public.
