North Somerset Council’s Community Safety Team is working together with partner agencies, to tackle anti-social behaviour and reduce crime and disorder in North Somerset.
If one of our partner agencies believes there is sufficient evidence to report you in relation to anti-social behaviour or breach of our Public Space Protection Orders, you may be given a notice to tell you that you have been reported to North Somerset Council.
You do not need to do anything until you receive further communications from North Somerset Council regarding this matter.
What happens if I’m reported?
The report will be sent to North Somerset Council’s Community Safety Team. We will carefully review the case and any evidence to consider what action to take. Where appropriate and proportionate, this may include enforcement action under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014.
Information will be held on an North Somerset Council restricted database for the purpose of reducing crime, disorder and anti-social behaviour. The handling of your information is governed by North Somerset Council’s privacy notice which can be found at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/privacy
The processing of such information will be in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 principles regarding the processing of personal data for Law Enforcement purposes and may be shared with partner agencies and registered social landlords if relevant and necessary to prevent crime and disorder and to reduce anti-social behaviour in accordance with the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014.
