We will be holding an event in Grove Park in Weston-super-Mare from noon on Monday 25 November.
During this event we will be typing orange ribbons to the pond railings. Each ribbon symbolises a woman who has lost her life due to domestic abuse in the previous year. There will also be poetry and guest speakers.
We would like to invite you to join us for this event.
Before this event takes place there will also be a march starting at Weston-super-Mare train station. This march has been organised by the Soroptimists to demonstrate the community commitment to ending violence against women and girls.
We would love you to march with us.
There are other ways you can get involved too.
We will be posting about this campaign regularly on our social media platforms. Please like and share these across your networks.
The White Ribbon Campaign is a fantastic movement inviting men to join the conversations and pledge their support to challenge violence against women and girls and misogyny.
