As well as its role in the night time economy, MAVISbus provides a valuable resource during the day and can be hired by groups and organisations to use at community events across North Somerset.
The vehicle is fully equipped to perform a variety of roles. The main area of the bus has an LCD TV screen with multiple points for connecting laptops or tablets and large worktops to display leaflets as well as a kitchen area with a kettle for making hot drinks.
The main cabin has also been fitted with adaptable seating including fold down tables and chairs, as well as mains sockets with USB mobile phone charging points.
Behind a sliding door is a separate medical room fitted with table and chairs, stretcher and first aid equipment. This room can be also be used for private consultations, making it an ideal platform for outreach work, health awareness, roadshows and even a command centre!
